where to stay
The hub is located in San Felipe de Jesus, a suburb on the northern edge of Antigua. We are about a 25 - 30 minute walk to the centre square in Antigua, which is the heart of the city. Many hotels, hostels, and Airbnbs as well as the main public market, several artisan markets, a modern mall, and many restaurants and coffee shops are also within this range (<10 minute drive / <30 minute walk).
Anywhere central or north of Antigua central park, San Felipe de Jesus, or the community Jocatenango are all good choices for where to stay. With a vehicle (such as a rental or using Uber which is cheap) you have more options of course. It really depends how close you want to be to the hub and other families. Take a look at the map below to get a better sense of where things are.​
Upon booking, we will send a curated list of accommodation options that we recommend based on previous family’s stays. There are a mix of options reflecting a range of prices and location. We will also include some great multi-family housing options for those who want to live side-by-side with other hub families. We are happy to help coordinate these stays.​
